Architecture and Design Origami House
When we talk about Origami, almost immediately comes to mind, these beautiful figures and even in some cases, sculptures, which are made of paper. Origami is the ancient art of Japanese origin which, by folding paper, we get different figures. In this case, the Japanese architect Yasuhiro Yamashita of Atelier Takuto study, wanted to take this art at its finest, with the construction of a very particular house.
This is Mineral House, and as your photos show it, is a leading edge structure, which shows the “modern ” Japanese architecture, with its geometric shapes, elegant and minimalist. It is noteworthy that this design has received numerous awards for architecture and design.
This home is located in a residential area in Nakano ward, Tokyo. Inside, we see the continuity with the outside world, achieved by respecting the slogan of inspiration, the “Origami”. Both the walls and furniture, the windows have been designed along the lines and shapes.
While there is ample space and has 45 m2, not being loaded with furniture, thanks to the colors chosen in its decoration, visually achieves the effect of space and good lighting, which is enhanced by these beautiful windows.
