How the concept of rural residential architecture
The concept of rural residential architecture has been transformed over the last decade. For over a century, attention focused on the challenge of designing and building houses in towns and cities, and interest in rural architecture focused on conservation, conversion and alteration of existing buildings. But nowadays many people have tired of the stress of urban life and moved to the field carrying an interest in design. Villas explores the work done by contemporary architects are not limited to reshape and recreate the methods and uses of the past but reinvent the country house, creating a new rural architecture for the twenty-first century. Villas is a tribute to those buildings and their place through four main chapters, Organic, vernacular, neo-modern and experimental, with an introduction that maps the history and evolution of the genre. Thirty projects show the different approaches by architects, with modern or traditional interpretations, highlighting its contribution to the new house with diversity, energy and originality that embody a lifestyle brand new and more flexible.
The villa has a strong symbolic, full of historical connotations. Both in the case of classical manor house, as in the modest shelter of modern inspiration, cultural indicators and decorating class, and sometimes blur, the popular idea of a bucolic haven. The most progressive organizations put the house in the foreground, thus confirming its place within the architectural and cultural order, while the negative views decisively relegated to the pages of history, trying to keep as a relic of the past. But in fact there is no way to stop the continuing evolution of the cottage, which is starting to come into a new era, an era of renewed interest in the countryside itself and the way we choose to live a certain type of rural life. The new house is a vehement response to a renewed passion for country life and the search for housing that truly reflects the wishes, aspirations and lifestyles of a group, growing, contemporary followers of doctrine of the bucolic and the provincial, but also concerned about the design.

This is really a house. Design Vanguard surreal and organic, strange, amazing and no doubt unique. It can be seen as an artistic expression, habitable sculpture, like a house of the future, a kind of spacecraft or the folly of an eccentric. It is real and is located in Mall orca Island, Spain. It is called Casa Son Vida and can ensure that is the number one excellent villas. It was completed in August 2008.
