Why Chemical company BASF presents Home Energy Efficiency
BASF leading chemical company worldwide presents its first Home Energy Efficiency (Home) in South America as part of the bicentennial of Argentina. Built with the latest technology worldwide, BASF House shows his wide range of solutions from a home efficient, sustainable, innovative and comfortable. The construction market is a strategic area for the company’s growth over the next 10 years. For this reason, BASF has invested approximately EUR 1 million in the development of this project and its launch strategy in order to promote a new cultural construction in the region. For that, BASF develops solutions to meet the demand of the construction market through cutting-edge three pillars: energy efficiency, high performance materials and design & decor.
The house has a floor area of 200 square meters on 2 levels determined. It features advanced technological solutions with innovative materials such as cellular plastic, polyurethane, construction chemicals, paints, varnishes and pigments for last generation. Because these solutions and the efficient thermal insulation obtained, we can achieve savings of approximately 70% of all energy needed for its operation.
